About the Department
The Arabic Language Department, established alongside the college in 1409 AH, is one of the largest departments on campus. Each year, the department is developing and advances its teaching methodologies across various subjects, including grammar, morphology, prosody, linguistics, language jurisprudence, literature, literary critique through history and modern contexts, and the many facets of Arabic rhetoric.
The Arabic Language Department has contributed to the graduation of many generations and has had a significant impact on meeting the community's need for teachers at the primary stage and higher levels. By constantly enhancing its teaching, academic, and administrative approaches with the latest technological tools, the department ensures it remains at the forefront of education. It actively engages in scholarly communication and shares experiences with similar departments within and beyond the region, keeping abreast of global academic advancements.
Moreover, The department has also strived to appoint a group of teaching assistants and lecturers and qualify them scientifically by sending them to study for master's and doctoral degrees; to achieve its greatest and most important goal, which is to be satisfied with national faculty members.
